Education, Testing and Treatment

Services

The Union County Public Health Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Clinic provides education, testing and treatment for STIs to males and females.


Eligibility

Male and female patients of all ages who desire testing and/or treatment for sexually transmitted infections are eligible for services.

There are no age or residency requirements for the STI clinic.

Payments

There is no charge for most STI testing, but some tests do require a fee.  Medicaid, private insurance, credit card, check and cash payments are accepted.

  • STI treatment is free for all patients.
  • Confidential services are available.


Appointments

Fast-Track

Fast-Track STI appointments (for patients without symptoms or known exposure) include:

  • Brief health questions
  • No examination
  • Self-collected testing
Routine

Routine STI appointments (for patients with symptoms or known exposure) include:

  • Complete health history questions
  • STI examination and testing by a provider
  • Evaluation of symptoms
  • Treatment if needed

Appointments are available:

  • Mondays (Routine)
  • Wednesdays (Routine and Fast-Track)
  • Thursdays (Routine)
  • Friday mornings (Routine)

  • Free condoms

    Free condoms can be picked up from the front desk or drive-thru window Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. You do not have to be a Public Health patient to request free condoms.
